Buildings
In Last War, there are many buildings, each serving a specific function: military bonuses, resource production, troop training, and healing. Almost all buildings can be upgraded to higher levels, increasing their efficiency.
🏢 Headquarters
The Headquarters is the most important building in the game. No other building can be upgraded beyond the level of the Headquarters. Therefore, the main goal is to upgrade the Headquarters. If that’s not possible, you need to upgrade the other required buildings first.

Survivors in the Headquarters
You can place two survivors in the Headquarters:
- Taylor (Researcher) — improves radar missions.
- Agent Shirley — slightly increases troop attack and capacity.
These survivors are only available through VIP purchases.
Buffs
- Protection: A shield can be activated in the first tab.
- Combat Bonuses: Displayed in the "Battle" tab.
- Economic Bonuses: Displayed in the "Economy" tab.
Customization
The Headquarters can be decorated with various elements, many of which provide bonuses. However, most of them must be purchased.
🧪 Research Center
The Research Center is the second most important building in the game. Without it, upgrading the Headquarters is impossible. This building is essential for researching various technologies.
Benefits of upgrading the Research Center
- Research Speed: Increasing the level of the Research Center boosts research speed.
- Survivors: Placing survivors in the Research Center further increases research speed.
- Additional Research Center: Optionally, you can purchase a second Research Center, which effectively doubles the research speed.
